Welcome to another Q&A session where we answer questions from you all on the internet.
Today's question is:
The owner shares that he genuinely appreciates when homeowners bring inspiration photos, since it helps him understand the visual style and overall look they're drawn to. From there, the Euro Decks team tailors that inspiration specifically to the homeowner's home, wants, needs, and budget. This starts with measuring the actual property and the specific area where the new deck or project will go, then adapting the homeowner's vision to fit the real dimensions and layout of their home. He describes this process as taking the homeowner's initial vision and bringing it to life in a way that's grounded in their actual property, rather than trying to copy an inspiration photo exactly. While having an inspiration photo is helpful, it's ultimately a starting point that gets translated into a fully custom plan.
That's a phenomenal question. So a lot of times people do have an inspiration photo or something along those lines, which I love when somebody brings that, just because it helps me understand the kind of visual they're going for, the look they're going for. But from there, we're going to tailor it specifically to them, their home, their wants, their needs, and their budget. So we'll measure out the property, we'll measure out the area that they want the new deck or the new project to go, and we will take that vision they have and fit it to their specific home's layout and dimensions, and really try to tailor it to their specific situation. It is helpful when they have an inspiration photo, but a lot of times I just call that 'the vision.' They have a vision, and we take that vision and bring it to life for their actual home. It's less about recreating a photo exactly and more about understanding the feeling and style they're drawn to, then designing something that fits their real yard, their real budget, and how they actually want to use the space.
