Welcome to another Q&A session where we answer questions from you all on the internet.
Today's question is:
The owner walks through a structured, communication-focused process. After the initial consultation, estimate, and decision to move forward, the owner of the company personally reaches out within the first couple of days to schedule an in-person site visit, typically within about a week. After that visit, the team finalizes material takeoff and pre-construction planning, touching base with the homeowner a few times during that phase and letting them know their construction start date one to two weeks out. The week before construction, the team confirms they're on schedule. Once building begins, homeowners have a direct line to their original estimator or project manager as a point of contact, alongside the foreman and owner. The crew is on-site daily, Monday through Friday, throughout the build. After completion, the property receives a full clean and detail, and the owner personally returns to walk through the finished project with the homeowner, ensuring their full satisfaction before collecting final payment and handing over the completed deck.
We really want our process to be quick, seamless, and easy for the homeowner, but we also want it to be simple. When we bring a client on, we meet them, do an estimate and consultation, and go over pricing and everything about the deck, including the colors and features. Once they decide they want Euro Decks to do the project, one of the very first steps, done within the first couple of days, is that the owner of the company will personally reach out to introduce himself to the homeowner and set up an in-person site visit, typically within about a week from that point. After the site visit, we finish our material takeoff and pre-construction planning and get ready to order material quickly. We'll touch base with the homeowner a few times during the pre-construction process and let them know, within about one to two weeks from that initial visit, when they're scheduled for construction to begin. The week before construction starts, we'll reach out again to confirm we're on schedule for the estimated start day. Once construction begins, homeowners have their original estimator or project manager's direct line as a point of contact throughout the process, alongside the foreman and the owner of the company, who are both in direct contact with the homeowner as well. The crew is there every day, Monday through Friday, once construction begins. Once the project is completely finished, we do a full clean and detail of the property, and the owner will once again come meet with the homeowner to do a walkthrough of the project and make sure they love everything about it. Once the homeowner says they're completely satisfied, we shake hands, collect the final payment, and they get to enjoy their new deck for many years to come. That process is designed to be as easy as possible for the homeowner while keeping them informed every step of the way, without requiring them to be overly involved or do any of the work themselves.
